Jury
The jury of the Web Festival Albena 2004 will consist of seven Bulgarian and International specialists in marketing and Internet advertisement and web-design. The countries presented at the jury are the Republic of Germany, the Republic of Turkey, and the Republic of Greece and the Republic of Bulgaria. The jury will give awards in 16th categories and will be guided by the following criteria:
- A clear concept about the idea of the site and adequate content;
- Competent structure and navigation;
- Designer approach to site visualization;
- Interactivity (hypertext, feedback mechanisms, online tools), functionality and attractiveness.
The members of the jury are:

Prof. Hector Haralambous (Greece)
He started his career with numerous Film & TV Graphics projects for the Greek State Television Channel One.
Since 1985 he has designed several Greek Computer Magazines such as Pixel, Computers For All etc.
In 1988 he worked closely with the Greek Ministry of Education for the creation of a program for teaching Graphic Design instruction in Secondary Education.
In 1992 he became the head of Digital Art Design Department at the Vakalo School of Art and Design where he teaches the BA Honour courses in Illustration, Typography and Experimental Graphic Design.
In 2001 he became one of the professors of the Master of Art in Graphic Design and Interactive Media at the Vakalo School of Art and Design in collaboration with the University of Derby UK.

Mr. Ralph Linhof (Germany)
He started his career at 1983 in Paris as Project Manager at “Allianz France S.A.”, as Co–ordination of an Int. Multimedia-Production in Munich and Bordeaux
1991–92: Agency GREY: Account Supervisor Marketing for Warner Bros. Film.
1993–95: Co–founder and Promotion Manager of the agency “Marketeam Entertainment” in Hamburg (Clients: Warner Bros., Buena Vista Int., UIP, etc..)
1995–96: Marketing Associate of Lord Lloyd Webbers “Really Useful Group” in Wiesbaden and London.
1996–97: “linhof&friends”, Marketing Consultancy / Agency network in Frankfurt and London (Rene Lezard, Ballet/Opera Frankfurt, Braun, Sony Classical, etc..).
1998–2001: Director Sales, Marketing & Strategic Planning + shareholder of the freecard company “Edgar Medien AG” in Hamburg.
Founder and Co–ordinator of the “International Freecard Alliance” (IFA).
Mentor of the first “International Freecard Award” (Hamburg, 2001)

Ms. Janet Naidenova (Bulgaria)
Senior Marketing Consultant at “JNN & ASSOCIATES”, Bulgaria
Janet Naidenova is a General manager and Senior marketing consultant of JNN Consult Ltd. (www.jnn-marketing.com) — the first marketing agency in Bulgaria, specializing in Information & Communications Technologies (ICT) Market, Internet and Integrated marketing. Ms. Janet Naidenova has experience in ICT and Marketing fields since 1986. In particular, she spent 8 years of her professional career with the Worldwide Fortune 500 IT Distributor reaching the position of Channel Marketing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Her articles on marketing, analyses on Bulgarian ICT and Internet Markets, surveys, researches and interviews have appeared in all specialized ICT newspapers and magazines in Bulgaria and abroad. Ms. Naidenova is an ICT marketing expert of European Union's (EU), marketing consultant of the World Bank and the first Certified Master of Guerrilla Marketing Coach in Central & Eastern Europe. She is the creator of one of the most innovative and successful integrated marketing campaigns in Bulgaria: for COMPAQ, for new online media for computers www.computer.bg, www.hyundai.bg and permission based e–mail marketing campaigns.

Mr. Aleksander Varov (Bulgaria)

Aleksander Varov holds a Masters degree in Sociology, but has chosen for himself a professional career in the web industry. He started his career in 1996 as Technical Support, and in 1998 he already worked under web projects, sales, and client contacts.
From January 2000 until January 2001, he worked in Alpha Research Sociological Agency on marketing researches. His main responsibilities included data processing, analyses, and client contacts.
In January 2001–October 2003, Aleksander Varov worked as Marketing and Sales Manager of www.dir.bg and his obligations there were media, media products, ASP services and distribution.
Since October 2003 Mr. Varov has worked in www.mail.bg as Marketing and Sales Manager. He deals with products marketing, corporative client contacts, NBD and NPD.

Mr. Bogomil Iliev (Bulgaria)

Member of Executive Board of Net Info BG AD
Bogomil Iliev together with Net Info's co–founders created Net Info BG AD in late 1998. He has actively taken part into development and launching of major Bulgarian Internet projects such as the most prominent Bulgarian site ABV.bg, the first Bulgarian search engine and portal Gyuvetch.bg, info–tainment site NetInfo.bg, etc.

Mr. Milko Georgiev (Bulgaria)
Milko Georgiev is Sales and Marketing Manager at www.dir.bg. He has a great experience at telecommunications and marketing because of his constant work with telecommunication companies. Mr. Georgiev worked as a Manager of “Corporate communications” Department at Mobil Tel — the biggest mobile operator in Bulgaria and there he was in charge of the most ambitious marketing campaign ever made in Bulgaria — changing the trade mark of Mtel and establishing the new image of the company.
Being Sales and Marketing Manager at GlobalTech, Bulgaria Mr. Georgiev played a very important role in the licensing process of the company and its establishing as a new telecommunication operator.
Milk Georgiev works for lots of Bulgarian and international companies as a freelance consultant as well as a lecturer in different Marketing and communications courses. He is one of the creators of www.yvox.net— the only one Internet portal about marketing and communications in Bulgaria.
