Artemy Lebedev (Russia)

Artemy Lebedev was born in Moscow at the Grauerman maternity hospital on February 13, 1975 (birth height: 50 cm; birth weight: 3,500 g). Graduated form the Moscow high school № 57 (humanitarian bias). On graduation, entered Moscow Lomonosov University's School of Journalism.
In summer 1992, together with a partner established a studio and worked there until the end of the year. In January 1993, he established his own studio dubbed Artografika. He took part in designing books and magazines. Since 1995, he has been working for Internet founding the Web Design studio. Later in 1998, it was renamed as the Art. Lebedev Studio. Realized over 500 projects including illustrations, insignia, logos, brands, corporate identities, websites, books, magazines, posters, etc. He is in the early stages of his creative career.
Art. Lebedev Studio’s areas of involvement: product design, graphic design, web–site design, interface design, editing, education and advertising. Today, there are over 150 employees in his company. Now, he is the studio’s art director.

Orlin Ivanov Kouzov (Bulgaria)
Mr. Orlin Kouzov has worked for the Open Society Foundation–Sofia for 10 years and has headed the National Research Network at the Ministry of Education and Science for two years. He has worked on several European Commission and G7 projects (the Global Inventory Project Initiative for instance), the Open Society Institute New York (Sorosnet Project), the United Nations Development Programme, the Institute for Sustainable Communities (in partnership with USAID’s DemNet II supported organizations), the NATO Science Programme. Member of the Internet Society since April 1993. Founder and ex-chairperson of the Internet BG Foundation. He has been in the Board of Directors of the BIT PLC (currently the BITEX.COM company), member of the Managing Committee of the Radio Frequency Spectrum Association, has managed projects of the Rila Solutions company. Member of the Political Council of the Pan–European Research Consortium G É ANT and the European network analyses group ENPG. He represents Bulgaria in the General assembly of the association of research networks in Central and Eastern European countries CEENet.
Among the most interesting projects which he has headed is the creation of a web–based multimedia portal for traditional Bulgarian folklore together with the Institute of Art Studies in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the creation of a portal for the Bulgarian secondary schools (together with Virtual Education Foundation), as well as a portal for the Bulgarian media (together with Bulgarian Media Coalition, the Media Development Centre and the Pro-Media Programme). He works actively in the field of implementing new information technologies in the work of the Third Sector and, together with the Resource Centre Foundation, developed a site for virtual services offered to non–governmental organizations, as well as in programmes in the field of social adaptation of the military.
As a pinnacle in his professional career he considers the invitation by the UN Secretary General to represent Eastern Europe in a Special High–level Panel at the New York Summit in April 2000 for overcoming the digital divide in ICT implementation in the developing countries, where the UN strategy in the field was marked.
International expert in digital divide issues, as well as in research infrastructure networks.
As of 2002 he has headed the ICT Development Agency at the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The Agency is the major executive body of the governmental policy in the field of information technologies and communications and is currently implementing large–scale infrastructure initiatives within the National i–Bulgaria Programme.

Philip Smirnov (Russia)
Philip Smirnov was born somewhere in Moscow on February 7, 1977. Started to work as a freelance designer about 10 years ago.
Switched to design using computer, later in 1996, being a student. While being educated in Moscow Mining Univercity was a proud memeber of HRG Art Group.
Starting from 1998 builded up a number of successful web–projects of all sizes.
Designer and technical director of www.gazeta.ru since 1999.
In 2005 has established his own design agency.

Among VERAX partners and clients are leading companies from the European news industry and the US educational sector.
VERAX's Graphical Design & Animation department has extensive experience in both Graphical/User Interface design and content creation, and has produced 300+ minutes of animation for TV, Web and animation-rich interactive CD-ROM titles.
In the beginning of 2003 VERAX launched JOBS.BG, as of now a leading online recruitment service in Bulgaria.
VERAX has R&D activities in the field of mobile technologies, workflow and content management, social networks.

Jeni Evgenieva Georgieva (Bulgaria)
Jeni Evgenieva Georgieva was born on 21st of August 1982 in Sliven. She graduated at the English language school at Sliven in 2001.
After it, she started studying Economics at the New Bulgarian University showing interests in advertising and PR.
In the late summer of 2004 she was invited to join the team of Free Cards advertising media. Attracted by the non–classical medias and the big world of advertising, in the end of 2004 she started a rubric called Fame Zone People in the site of Fame Cards as its editor.
